Finnish VR specialist VRKiwi has announced today that Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder, the follow-up to 2019’s Cave Digger, will be moving dirt on PSVR later this year.
At the moment, there’s no firm release date as the developer is polishing the final gemstones ahead of release, though it is expected to release sometime between August and September, as per the press release. The game’s developer states that Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder will be a familiar experience to those who already got their hands dirty with the original game, but it’ll also be different enough to make it a worthwhile investment.
The original Cave Digger released back in 2019 before spawning a non-VR release a year later.
Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder will offer a new story with branching narratives to discover, either alone as a solo adventurer or as a group of up to four players.
