CD Projekt red has delayed the release of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game‘s story-driven single-player campaign to 2018.
Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is available now as a free download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The campaign, titled Thronebreaker, was originally supposed to launch by the end of year and focuses on Meve, a war-veteran queen of two Northern Realms, as an imminent foreign invasion forces her to war.
The developer also revealed that it will be rolling out new cards, challenges, vanity items, game patches, and balance tweaks more frequently in 2018 as the game prepares to leave beta.
