Civilization VI's lead designer wants to shake up players

Lead designer Ed Beach, as quoted above, seems very keen to build on what was achieved with Civilization V (including a number of enhancements that came in expansion packs) while encouraging players to approach the game in a new way.

A new Civilization game is in the works for PC.

When we look at the way people play, we see certain strategies that are used again and again — they’re the best practice for the early game or the mid-game.
