Microsoft made some big headlines recently when it announced that it will be acquiring Activision Blizzard in an all-cash deal of nearly $69 billion.
Of course, it also depends on whether EA would want itself to be acquired by a tech giant or not.
The company is valued at $38 billion, and with a strong presence in the mobile space, the publishing giant seems ripe for acquisition.
According to a recent Financial Times report (via Pure Xbox), EA just might be the next big company to potentially be acquired by the likes of Microsoft, Google, Apple, Meta, Sony, or others.
