A recent update for 2008’s Fallout 3 on Steam has now removed the Games For Windows Live requirement for launching the game.
The update comes after more than a decade of the game being available, which is certainly strange, albeit appreciable as well.
It’s been recently confirmed that the game will have over 150,000 lines of dialogue, and will of course be exclusive to Xbox platforms.
Why Bethesda patched the game after so long remains a mystery though.
