Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot believes strongly in Nintendo’s upcoming NX console, claiming it will allow the company to become competitive with the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Of course, Ubisoft has a vested interest in seeing the NX succeed—the company’s already promised to release a few titles, such as Just Dance 2017, on the NX.
Guillemot said in a French-language shareholder call that Nintendo would “revenir dans la course”—in English, “get back in the race”—with the NX.
Still, since the NX has been kept so tightly under wraps, Guillemot’s statements reflect one of very few real impressions we’ve heard of the upcoming console.
