The company will ‘operate independently’ and ‘maintain the ability to create and self-publish its game on all platforms’ Quantic Dream announced Wednesday in a blog post that the company had been acquired by NetEase.
Quantic Dream will join NetEase Games, with NetEase becoming the studio’s parent company and sole shareholder.
Quantic Dream revealed the first trailer for its latest upcoming game, Star Wars: Eclipse, at The Game Awards in December.
“We met NetEase about 4 years ago and offered to join us as a minority shareholder in January 2019,” Quantic Dream wrote in a statement.
