Silent Hill 2 Remake Features New Tracks in Addition to Remade Originals, Akira Yamaoka Confirms

  • Silent Hill 2 is due out on October 8 for PS5 and PC.

  • “Remade all the original tracks and added new ones,” Yamaoka wrote.

  • Taking to Twitter, Yamaoka revealed that in addition to all of the tracks in the original Silent Hill 2 being completely redone from scratch for the upcoming remake, he also composed entirely new ones, adding that the game’s soundtrack reflects how is approach to music has “evolved” over the course of his career.
