PS2 emulation appears to be missing from disappointing offering of classic games Sony has announced the initial lineup of games for its revamped, multi-tier PlayStation Plus subscription service, and firmed up its launch dates over the next five weeks.
Sony has yet to announce the Essential tier games for the service’s relaunch in June.
The classic games catalog available to top-tier Premium and Deluxe subscribers will feature original PlayStation games Ape Escape, Tekken 2, and Syphon Filter, plus Super Stardust Portable from the PSP.
The lowest-priced Essential tier remains the same as the current PlayStation Plus, offering a handful of free PS4 and PS5 games every month alongside access to multiplayer online gaming.
