The Elder Scrolls Online saw the launch of native PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions a couple of months ago, but soon, developer Zenimax Online Studio will be further improving the game’s visual fidelity on the new consoles, thanks to new features being added in with the upcoming Update 31.
As such, on PS5 and Xbox Series X, in performance mode, The Elder Scrolls Online will soon be scaling between 1080p and 2160p, depending on performance metrics.
The Elder Scrolls Online’s PC, Mac, and Stadia versions will be getting Update 31 on August 23, and the console versions on August 31.
The current HDR mode will still remain in the game as an option for those who want to stick with it though.
