Hideo Kojima has said that his new video game studio, Kojima Productions, will pursue a staff no larger than 100 individuals, less than half the number employed by his previous studio of the same name, back when he was still at Konami.
The Japanese auteur has been touring major video game and film studios since leaving and has decided that a smaller team can be more efficient, according to a recent interview with Gamereactor.
Kojima Productions was established in December with Kojima as lead.
“I’m aiming to keep the staff less than 100 people,” Kojima told Gamereactor through a translator.
