This weekend we saw Digital Extremes’ Warframe fan event, TennoCon 2021, take place, and the developer has confirmed that Warframe players will be able to cross-play and cross-save later this year.
Digital Extremes has announced that Warframe will be getting cross-play and cross-save at some point later this year.
There’s no concrete release date set for cross-play and cross-save yet, but the studio reckons that players will be able to play with other Warframe users across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One before the end of 2021.
“Opening up cross-play and cross-save is just one of many more efforts we’ll take on to bring more players together including extending Warframe’s fast, fluid, action combat experience to other global gaming platforms.”
